PVCOOL developed Solar Power plant for recycling e-waste with use of electrolysis refining. 1MW Solar plant will be build in Victoria and will be able to recycle 1500t /year of electronic waste The use of DC current and avoiding of inverters, regulators and battery storage systems dramatically reduce cost of produced electricity. Using of noncontinuous electrolysis process makes system less cost, due to fact of avoiding energy storage and grid connections. PVCOOL-SP solar concentrators with advanced high efficient PV modules reduce cost of electricity to 6.4 c/kW-hour with total capitalisation cost of solar plant $2.8m. This project will bring to Australian community double environmental benefit of recycling e-waste with 100% use of renewable energy.
